These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of reelcitrus.com (the “Site”) and related services operated by Reel Citrus LLC (“Reel Citrus,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

1. Who we are

Reel Citrus LLC is a film distribution and release company based in Los Angeles, California. The Site shares information about the films we release, the Watch Club, screenings and ways to work with us.

2. Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or republish Site content, except as these Terms allow;
  • interfere with the Site’s security or operation;
  • use the Site for anything unlawful, or to send spam; or
  • misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization.

3. Our content

The Site’s design, text, graphics and logos, and the Reel Citrus name and marks, are owned by Reel Citrus LLC or our licensors. Film titles, posters, stills, trailers and other film materials belong to their respective rights holders and appear on the Site with permission to promote their release. Nothing on the Site grants you a license to use any of these materials. Press may use release materials for editorial coverage, with credit.

4. Watch Club, screenings and events

Watch Club invitations are free and depend on availability. Signing up does not guarantee a seat. Screening dates, cities, cinemas and lineups may change or be canceled. Tickets bought through cinemas or third-party ticketing platforms are governed by their terms. A screening request sent through the Site is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking. Bookings are confirmed only in writing.

5. Film submissions and other materials

When you submit a film or send us other materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them. We review submissions at our discretion and have no obligation to respond, acquire or distribute any film. We receive many submissions and may already be working on similar projects. Sending us a film or an idea does not create a confidential relationship or any obligation to pay you. Any distribution or release relationship will be set out only in a written agreement signed by both parties.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site links to and embeds third-party services, such as ticketing pages, YouTube, Substack, Flodesk and social media platforms. We don’t control these services and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reel Citrus LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Release information, including dates, cities and box office figures, is provided for general information and may change.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reel Citrus LLC and its members, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reel Citrus LLC from any claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

12. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Reel Citrus LLC about the Site.
